Vom 2. – 3. Juni 2018 fand bereits zum 11. Male auf „Rädern und Ketten“ im Heeresgeschichtlichen Museum zu Wien statt. Das Wetter war hochsommerlich und vielleicht war das und der vorangegangene „Fenstertag“ am Freitag ein Grund, warum weniger Besucher anwesend waren. Das war zumindest mein Eindruck am Sonntag. Auch wenn viele meiner Bekannten meinen, es würde immer das gleiche zu sehen sein, kann ich dem nur bedingt zustimmen. Einige Teilnehmer bringen doch immer etwas Neues und die Verschrottung eines alten VW Polo durch einen M60A3 am Sonntag war ein gelungenes Highlight vom Veranstalter.
Nachdem es Unklarheiten zur Interpretation der DSGVO in Bezug auf Publikation von Bildern mit Personen gibt, möchte ich an dieser Stelle noch einmal erwähnen, dass man mich kontaktieren soll, falls ein Bild von der Seite genommen werden muss.
The 11th edition of „Rädern und Ketten“ took place between 2. - 3. June 2018 in the Museum of Military History in Vienna. The weather was summary and a bridge day on Friday were the possible reason that fewer spectators as usual joined the event. That’s at least my impression from Sunday. I cannot share the opinion of some of my friends completely that the show is more or less presenting the same stuff for each and every year. Some participants are really eager to bring something new and the scrapping of an old VW Polo with a little help from a M60A3 was a highly appreciated highlight, initiated by the organizers of the show.
As there are still some uncertainties in conjunction with the new European data protection law in regard to publication of pictures with persons I want to ask you to contact me if you want to have a picture deleted.
