Blog No: 45Dear visitors, it’s time to say „Danke“ for continously visiting my homepage. Although this is a non commercial site, I am interested to keep the flow alive. And this is no easy task, as I recently had to discover per coincidence. I was looking for something on the net and noticed that the hits for my site, which normally are ranked rather on top, were missing. I did some tests and got worried…I checked my site, my tags-everything was there. Except for a small change: the Zenfolio guys have changed http into https, obviously automatically. A friend of mine, who is more into computers and www told me that this is the reason why the search results for my site are not as prominent as previously. But as https is the „save“ trigger for and some searching machines are preferring them, it should be only a matter of time, until everything comes in balance again… Let’s hope he is right! For the time being, only a short update. Jeeps-Yes the Austrian Armed force used them as well!
